Business Advisory Manager Position My client is a leading boutique 4 Partner CA Firm, 12 staff practice, located in the Sydney CBD. I am looking for a Business Advisory Manager. The ideal candidate will most likely be a Business Advisory Assistant Manager from a big 4, mid-tier or small-tier CA firm looking to step up to a Manager position, or a Manager seeking a change to a small-mid-tier firm and a more rewarding environment. You will have approximately 4-7 years of experience servicing individuals, large privately owned businesses, and small-medium enterprises. The role involves business advisory, strategic/planning, and tax compliance services across key industry sectors. Responsibilities Exceptional tax understanding and problem-solving skills; experience with tax consolidations is preferred. Exceptional understanding of accounting standards and the preparation of general-purpose financial reports. Ability to draft correspondence including advice. Desire for face-to-face client interaction; must be hands-on while managing, mentoring, and overseeing staff. Work within a small team of 4 Partners, Senior Manager, 10-12 Sydney based accounting staff, and 5 overseas based staff members. Availability to work longer hours during July/August during heavy reporting periods, with compensatory time off and remuneration. Opportunity for partnership, but also a focus on creating an outstanding long-term working environment with deserved financial and lifestyle rewards. Mandatory 3 days a week in the office, with occasional additional days in the office or at client sites as necessary, while maintaining a work/home balance. Compensation A collaborative and generous remuneration package, circa $120K - $160K including super for a Manager (subject to experience and performance).
