Techforce has multiple positions available for HD Fitters | Diesel Mechanics with Underground mining equipment experience for a specialised and close-knit rebuilds workshop in Wangara, Western Australia. Our client is a respected WA Owned mobile equipment maintenance and labour supply solutions company, with strong ties to the Goldfields Region. What you'll be Doing: Conduct equipment rebuilds and mechanical repairs on Sandvik, Normet & Epiroc Underground Trucks & Loaders as well as a range of ancillary equipment Component assembly, stripping and rebuilding Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and rectification of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ensure all repairs are carried out safely and in accordance with OEM standards and site maintenance procedures Work collaboratively with other fitters, auto electricians, and service technicians to achieve maintenance targets What's in it for You: Temp to Perm contract – sign over to Full Time with the client after 6 months $60ph flat rate + Super on all hours worked Monday – Friday | 10 hour days | 6am – 4pm Day Shift only – No Night Shift Local Workshop role in Wangara, Western Australia Close‑knit team, Friday arvo BBQs & beers with the team after work, modern and tidy workshop Trade up‑skilling/upgrading on offer for any mechanic with Heavy Diesel/Plant experience – must be trade qualified already Option to attend breakdowns in the Goldfields for extra $$$ in company supplied Field Service Ute (LandCruiser) Opportunity to purchase new tools through the company and pay back over increments Bring a mate you can trust and get a referral bonus when they start What you Need: Experience with Underground Heavy Mobile Equipment/Machinery – Sandvik, Liebherr, Epiroc, Normet, etc An awesome can‑do attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills Cert III Engineering – Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate (or similar) Valid Australian Drivers Licence Full Unlimited Australian Working Rights Able to pass a Lab Drug & Alcohol Screen & a Pre‑Employment Medical National Police Clearance High Risk Work Licence – Dogging or Crane How to Apply We are interviewing for this position ASAP.
