About the Opportunity The primary objective is to lead design approval and quality oversight of radioactive material transport packaging services in accordance with ARPANSA requirements. Your Duties and Responsibilities Deliver project‑managed and technically sound engineering services focused on packaging, meeting all technical, budgetary, safety, regulatory and QA system requirements. Lead multiple large projects from conception through to completion, including scoping, costing, team leadership, monitoring, review and on‑time delivery. Conduct engineering design analysis, justify design and safety features, and review engineering work including proposals, concepts, detailed designs, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. Develop international networks to enable external collaboration and information sharing. Deliver client‑focused solutions, influence, negotiate and liaise with senior staff, manage customer relationships and keep customers informed of project progress.
