As the Assistant Service Manager, you will support the Fun Squad Service Manager to support team members and assist with daily duties. A key focus of the role is to support the Service Manager to build and maintain stakeholder relationships to increase commitment to the PCYC brand, while inspiring a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values. About You Minimum Certificate III in childhood studies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatory authority Working towards a Diploma in childhood studies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatory authority Must hold one of the following child protection certificates: CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk CHCPRT026 - Support the rights and safety of children and young people CHCECE057 - Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary Fun Squad Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing Fun Squad operations Hold a Working with Children Check / Blue Card (or able to obtain) Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) Working with Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
