Hourly Rate: $35 - $40 Our work week is based on a 40-hour week, with travel outside of these hours paid in addition. About the Company Bob’s Irrigation Services is a Queensland-based company specialising in the Irrigation Supply, planning, maintenance, and installation of water filtration, sprinkler irrigation, and related services. Established in 2002 (after more than a decade of prior experience), Bob, from his Brisbane-based home, started the company, which has grown to become a preferred supplier across a diverse market, from residential and commercial projects to Estate developments. Role Overview We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. For the initial period of employment, you would predominantly be servicing the commercial sector in the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba. Although you may be working in Brisbane, you will be servicing irrigation for residential and commercial properties as needed. Qualifications White Card (Construction Card) – Required Bluecard (working with Children) – Required Current Driver’s Licence – Required Vehicle – Discussion may be had for the provision of a company vehicle At Heights Certification – Helpful but Not Required Confined Spaces Certification – Helpful but Not Required Excavator licensing – Helpful but Not Required Preferably have industry-related experience Have Irrigation Cert III certificate or above – Helpful but Not Required Fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision, as well as the ability to work within a team environment Strong attention to detail What We Offer Full Time – Monday to Friday Position with above award pay Travel pay while working outside of Brisbane Tools of the trade Allowance for the use of your kilometres (unless using a company vehicle) Fuel Card Training/mentorship and Career development Weekly phone allowance for use of your phone for work Be careful – Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
