Central Adelaide Local Health Network Mental Health Services, Tranmere Salary RN-2 $87,416 -$110,497 p.a., plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Permanent full‑time About the Role Working as a member of a multi‑disciplinary Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), the CN provides care coordination and support for consumers whose care is being transferred to their GP. The role also involves networking with GPs and the primary and secondary health sectors to facilitate ongoing transfer of care for mental health consumers exiting the tertiary mental health sector. A Graduate Diploma of Mental Health Nursing, or equivalent, is an essential minimum requirement for the role. The CN provides mental‑health nursing care in a variety of settings across the MHCP. The CN’s practice has been consolidated by experience and/or further study. CNs are expected to demonstrate ongoing practice development from competent to proficient practitioners. The CN accepts accountability for their own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. The CN role is predominantly clinical in nature; however CNs may be assigned appropriate portfolios consistent with their career development plan and MHCP priorities. CNs may be required to be involved in clinical teaching and/or research; wider or external work on complex or MHCP‑wide projects such as clinical protocols, guidelines and/or process mapping and/or specific activity and/or portfolio responsibility. About You We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about delivering high‑quality care and supporting the growth of others. Registered Nurse with mental‑health qualifications and at least three years post‑registration experience, demonstrating competence in complex mental‑health care. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with experience supervising and coordinating nursing staff and students. Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, manage competing priorities, and drive innovative solutions in clinical practice. Sound knowledge of contemporary mental‑health nursing, legislation, recovery‑oriented care, and quality improvement standards, with a commitment to consumer and carer participation.
