Cardiac Physiologist Senior

As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you'll deliver advanced diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac services that support optimal patient outcomes. Working within a multidisciplinary Cardiology team, you'll apply your technical expertise and clinical reasoning to complex cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient-centred care. Key responsibilities: Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostics including echo, pacing, or EP studies. Provide clinical expertise and guidance across cardiology service areas. Supervise and mentor junior staff, students, and allied health assistants. Contribute to quality improvement, research, and service innovation. Collaborate effectively within an interprofessional clinical environment. About you: You're a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist with strong clinical judgement, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy contributing to service innovation and staff development. You will demonstrate: Advanced knowledge in echocardiography, pacing, and/or electrophysiology. Proven ability to manage complex cardiac cases and prioritise effectively. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to evidence-based practice and continual learning. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
