A female with proficiency in Spanish language and a welcoming demeanor are essential criteria for the role. NDIS Worker Screening Requirements All NDIS workers must have undergone a police check and a specific NDIS screening check. A police check is mandatory for individuals employed in the NDIS sector. A Working with Children check is also required. Attainment of a Certificate IV in Disability Care or an equivalent qualification is necessary for individuals aspiring to work as NDIS workers. Tasks & Responsibilities Providing Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living. Implementing Care Plans: Follow individualized care plans to support clients in achieving their goals and maintaining their well-being. Supporting Daily Activities: Help clients with household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation as needed. Promoting Independence: Encourage clients to develop their skills and independence in various areas of life. Providing Emotional Support: Offer empathy, understanding, and companionship to clients, and listen to their concerns. Administering Medication: Dispense and monitor medication according to prescribed schedules and procedures. Documenting Progress: Maintain accurate records of the care provided, client progress, and any incidents or observations. Liaising with Professionals: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support services to ensure holistic care for the client. Ensuring Safety: Maintain a safe environment for clients and adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
