Our team is small but mighty—2 full‑time vets and 4 full‑time nurses, supported by a fantastic group of part‑time and casual staff. Our Vet Director brings advanced ophthalmology expertise, having completed several courses equivalent to membership‑level training, and is happy to mentor others with an interest in ophthalmology. Our other vet has a special interest in feline medicine, adding depth and diversity to our clinical focus. Job Description We're looking for a veterinarian with solid clinical, surgical and dental experience. Someone who brings natural charisma, excellent communication skills and thrives in a united, supportive environment. A genuine passion for delivering compassionate, gold‑standard care is essential. The role includes the occasional Saturday morning sole charge shift (approximately 1 in every 2 or 3 weekends), and while you may occasionally work solo if others are unexpectedly off sick, you will usually be part of a team. We prioritise balance and support, so you're rarely left to manage alone unless absolutely necessary. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and / or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations.
