Broking, Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Broker and People Leader to join our Real Estate Team at Marsh. This role is available in either our Melbourne or Sydney office. This is a hybrid role which offers the opportunity to work three days in the office and two days at home. Leadership Focus In this key leadership role, you will provide guidance and support to a team of 8 Account Executives who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our portfolio of Real Estate Agents, and Commercial Property Owner clients’ insurance requirements and placements. You will also manage several high value clients, with a focus on strategic relationship management rather than renewal targets. What we expect you to do: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients Manage workflow approvals, development plans and technical oversight Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the team Drive operational excellence and consistent client delivery Maintain strong technical knowledge across Financial Lines (PI, Cyber, ML) and Commercial Products. Qualifications & Experience Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent) Prior experience in a senior broking or leadership role within commercial or financial lines insurance Strong knowledge of General & Financial Lines products A genuine interest in mentoring junior brokers The ability to balance operational leadership with client oversight.
