Overview Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator role within the Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division. The position focuses on increasing the visibility and accessibility of Student Success and Teaching Advancement services and activities to students and staff. A key component is a joined‑up approach with other QUT service providers to drive efficiencies and cohesive service offerings, enabling users to navigate and access support services based on a user‑centred design. The role involves proactively building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the QUT community. Term, Remuneration and Location Term: Fixed‑term, full‑time basis until 26 July 2026 Remuneration: $111,341 to $120,557 per annum (HEW6), inclusive of $94,084 to $101,872 salary, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading Location: Kelvin Grove Open to: The position is open to current staff members of QUT with unrestricted work rights for the duration of the fixed‑term appointment. Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply to support Indigenous Australian success. Who are we looking for? We are seeking an Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator to join the Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division. The Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for increasing the visibility and accessibility of Student Success and Teaching Advancement services and activities to students and staff. A key component of the role is to develop a joined‑up approach with other QUT service providers, driving efficiencies and cohesion in service offerings and ensuring that students can readily navigate and access support services based on a user‑centred design. The role proactively builds relationships and collaborates with stakeholders across the QUT community including Internal Communications and Marketing teams, Events Registration team, Oodgeroo Unit, Student Services and Faculties to identify gaps in student support services and harness opportunities for service improvements. What You Need To Succeed Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience, preferably in higher education. Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and to connect, consult and negotiate with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders to achieve results. Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create engaging content and user‑centred resources, prepare copy for student and staff audiences, and deliver presentations. Advanced digital literacy, including the ability to use corporate systems and MS Office 365 to create content, tools and protocols and to extract, analyse and present data. Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and work autonomously. Proven ability to contribute as an effective team member in building a culture committed to student success and continuous improvement.
