Add expected salary to your profile for insightsJoin a dynamic, expanding business making waves in maritime sustainment.Who we areNORSTA Maritime is the Regional Maintenance Provider for both the North (Darwin) and North-East (Cairns, Head Office) and delivers project management capabilities, technical expertise and quality assurance activities for the Royal Australian Navy fleet.Our advanced maritime sustainment planning coordinates fleet maintenance at scale across Far North Queensland, including Northern Australia and adjacent waters for the Commonwealth of Australia.Due to high demand, we are expanding rapidly and developing further capacity for more vessel platforms.About the rolesDue to growth and expansion in the RMP-NE contract, we are seeking two experienced and capable Project Managers for NORSTA's Head Office in Cairns:Planned Maintenance Project ManagerUnplanned/Expeditionary Project ManagerAs a NORSTA Project Manager, you will work with a team of experienced maritime maintenance engineering and support staff to deliver maintenance to vessels in NORSTA's charge.Your responsibilities include:Lead and participate in maintenance planning activitiesEnsuring maintenance delivery runs according to schedule and on budgetManage and ensure compliance around reporting (including financial) legislative and contractual requirements in relation to maintenance activities, including capturing evidence (OQE) and completion of reports in the Data Management System (DMS)Engagement with key stakeholders and supply chainReport and analyse maintenance and technical data.The roles are based in Cairns.NOTE: As a condition of this role, you must be able to obtain (and hold) Baseline Defence security clearance, which requires Australian Citizenship. A National Police Check will also be undertaken.About youAs a professional with experience in maritime asset management, you will be an exceptional leader with excellent interpersonal skills.You will also possess:Significant project management skills in the maritime industry, demonstrating successful maintenance management across a variety of RAN vessel classesKnowledge and understanding of RAN engineering management tools, OEM portals and processesExcellent reporting and data analysis skills with the ability to present information in an accessible and knowledgeble mannerExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagementCustomer-focused and prioritises customer needs and wantsUncompromising commitment to environmental, health and safety standardsRole-model inspirational leadership and personal behavioursTertiary and/or technical/trade qualifications in related area.How to applyPlease click the "Quick Apply" button below to access the Seek application portal.
