Job Description - Safety and Facilities Partner (0000B4DV) Job Description Safety and Facilities Partner - 0000B4DV Ongoing Full time Opportunity Play a key role in safeguarding people, property, and processes Apply your WHS expertise to ensure compliance and reduce workplace risks across all sites About the Role This role supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the NSW Electoral Commission’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System, including related policies, procedures, and programs that promote a safe and healthy workplace. The role provides expert WHS advice, champions proactive risk management, and monitors compliance to support safe operations and safeguard staff. Additionally, the role is responsible for facility management services across NSW Electoral Commission sites, coordinating with contracted providers to maintain high-quality amenities and ensure regulatory compliance. The role is an Ongoing Full-time position. Running and regulating elections Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key NSW community stakeholders and NSW election participants; and Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral and lobbying laws such as the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018. Strong working knowledge of current Work Health and Safety legislation, with proven experience in conducting safety inspections, investigations, and audits, as well as effective management of workers’ compensation claims. Experience in facilities management. Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.
