If you're passionate about heavy road transport and looking for growth opportunities, this is the job for you Local Position based in Port Hedland What Toll has to Offer: Permanent Position offering $70 per hour Attractive $30k per annum Housing Allowance (Conditions Apply) 2/1 Roster (7D,7N,7off) Brand new workshop (January 2025) Job Security of a Full-time permanent position 5 weeks Annual Leave & 10 Days Personal Leave Relocation assistance for applicable candidates up to $5000 (Conditions Apply) Extensive fleet of trucks and trailers to showcase your skills On the Job training opportunities Room for internal growth and progression Collaborative and supportive team environment across the workshop What Does a Day as a Toll Diesel Mechanic Look Like? Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems Ordering and replacing parts as needed Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team member Our desired Key Skills and Experience: Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Unrestricted Australian Working Rights Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel vehicles Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to workplace safety About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
