Job Description - Logistics Lead - Shutdown )# | | || --- | --- || Logistics Lead - Shutdown- **Join a Tier 1 Company** **Full-Time Position** UGL, a member of the CIMIC Group, is seeking an experienced **Shutdown Logistics Lead** to manage all site-based logistics activities for major APLNG shutdown events. This pivotal role ensures safe, efficient, and coordinated delivery of tools, materials, and workforce movements throughout the shutdown lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** **Planning & Pre-Shutdown:** * Scope, plan, and establish shutdown crib village and toolstore. * Develop event plot plans (traffic routes, laydown areas, allocations). * Coordinate mobilisation/demobilisation of contractors and support services. * Ensure compliance with HSE and company standards. **Execution:** * Lead all island-based logistics operations during shutdown. * Supervise logistics team and field support staff. * Facilitate workforce movements and site access. * Oversee cleaning, waste services, and temporary equipment operations. **Post-Shutdown:** * Manage demobilisation and site close-out activities. * Participate in lessons learned and performance reviews. **About You** **Qualifications & Experience:** * Shutdown logistics experience in LNG or similar sectors. * Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, including 5+ years in Oil & Gas leadership roles. * Proven ability in contractor coordination and site logistics. **Personal Attributes:** * Strong leadership and people management skills. * Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset. * Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic environments. **What We Offer** Flexible work arrangements Company-paid Salary Continuance Insurance Discounted Private Health Insurance Dedicated wellness program & rewards Exclusive staff discounts across various categories Career pathways within UGL and the CIMIC Group UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services across rail, transport, oil & gas, power, renewables, water, and defence markets.
