This role involves leading design-led engagements across diverse client projects and guiding a talented team of designers to deliver innovative, human-centred solutions that create real impact.**About the Role**As a **Lead Design Consultant,** you will play a pivotal role in shaping customer experiences and driving growth through creativity and design thinking. You will:* **Lead and mentor** a team of designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.* **Shape and deliver** complex client engagements, ensuring outcomes align with strategic objectives.* **Support pre-sales activities**, contributing to proposals and client presentations.* **Champion human-centred design**, embedding design-led approaches across projects.* **Collaborate with stakeholders** to translate business challenges into meaningful design solutions.**What You’ll Do*** Work on projects tackling our most complex client challenges, leading a team of cross-practice consultants (software developers, data and AI experts, and designers) to ensure successful outcomes for the team and our clients. Billable client work would represent 60-80% of your working week.* Support pre-sales conversations with our Growth team to uncover opportunities for design-led engagements based on customer goals and challenges* Contribute to the creation of compelling proposals outlining approach, rationale, deliverables, timelines, and required skillsets* Build strong relationships with Victoria design team members, supporting their growth and development* Coach and mentor design consultants, helping them achieve their professional aspirations* Facilitate discovery workshops and brainstorming sessions to define business and project objectives* Contribute to Versent initiatives sharing your experience and expertise such as through internal or external activities (Lunch and Learn sessions, or presenting at conferences for example), or contributing to the Versent Tech Blog.**Life at Versent**We're a diverse team of motivated humans who think outside the box and strive to deliver what others might consider impossible.At Versent we truly care about our people and put real focus on cultivating a culture of learning, collaboration and growth.
