Dietitian - New Graduate

Overview The ORS Dietetics team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us You will join our NDIS division providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types. You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity and diagnosis, playing an integral part in your client's personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way. Responsibilities The type of nutritional assessments, counselling, education, support and planning you will provide include: Healthy eating for people with a range of mental and physical disability; Healthy eating principles around mindfulness eating and / or chronic health conditions such as Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, IBD etc.; Meal Tim Management plans; Fussy eating plans; Tube feed plans; Meal plans; Eating disorders. You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices. Requirements Membership with the Dietitians Australia (Registered APD) Strong passion to enable people with disabilities to reach their goals and aspirations Some knowledge and experience in disability and / or aged care A car and driver's licence A National Police Clearance, Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one for client‑facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement) About ORS We're one of Australia's largest and fastest‑growing allied health providers, offering evidence‑based services for over 30 years.
