We’re looking for skilled and reliable Precast Concrete Finishers and Patchers to join our client’s team at their busy precast facility in the Newcastle area. This is a hands‑on role suited to experienced tradespeople who take pride in high-quality finishes and want steady, long‑term work with a respected leader in the precast concrete industry. About the Role Working within a modern precast yard, you’ll be responsible for producing and finishing a wide range of precast concrete elements such as panels, beams, culverts, and structural components. Your duties will include: Preparing and cleaning moulds and formwork before pours Applying release agents and setting up reinforcing steel and cast‑in items Pouring, compacting, screeding, and finishing concrete to specification Carrying out surface repairs, patching, grinding, and detailing to achieve architectural and structural finishes Conducting quality checks to meet production and client standards Assisting with demoulding, yard movement, and finishing touches before dispatch Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Concrete Finisher or Patcher — precast experience highly regarded Strong eye for detail and quality workmanship Competent with a range of finishing techniques Able to read and interpret basic precast drawings and job specifications Physically fit and safety‑conscious Team player with a reliable and positive attitude Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Must be able to pass a pre‑employment assessment Benefits Full‑time hours, ongoing work with consistent hours Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 3:00pm (plenty of overtime available) All tools, PPE, and equipment supplied Weekly pay through Direct Personnel Work with an experienced, supportive team at a well‑established precast facility If you’re an experienced Precast Concrete Finisher or Patcher ready for your next opportunity, this is your chance to join a company that values hard work and quality results.
