And if that’s you we would love to have you join us Job Description You will provide customer support and engineering through the performance of small projects, on‑site installation, and troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment. The Field Service Engineers work with our customers to maintain a thoughtful and productive manufacturing system. We ask that you have vision, creativity, technical engineering expertise, and a willingness to travel. Ensure that the individual parts of a system can work together to perform the desired application. Take ownership of the complete system or solution, which encompasses RA, third‑party, and user aspects, not only the individual components. Be able to increase the application of all RA family of products and portfolio offerings to meet customer’s needs. Your Responsibilities Attend to field service work. Provide technical assistance and field service to customers by performing one or more of the following things. Engineering assistance application, programming specifications, etc. Field service installation start‑up integration, system optimization, maintenance, and warranty implementation. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems at customer site. Provide customer coordination of RA products and systems by performing the following functions. On‑site analysis and specification preparation. Hardware configuration – system and product application. Programming assistance. Project coordination between customer, OEM sales, product division, etc. Technical support – field start‑up, integration and maintenance. Documentation. The Essentials – You Will Have Hold a valid Australian electrical license. Additional tertiary education or university degree is highly advantageous. 5+ years engineering and/or field experience. Proven experience with industrial drive systems, including VSD/VFD, LV/MV AC Drives (preferably Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley). Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly. Capability to deliver technical presentations to both internal teams and external customers. Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Demonstrated active listening & teamwork skills. Professional, enthusiastic, customer‑focused, and a strong team player. Results‑driven with a collaborative mindset. The Preferred – You Might Also Have Experience collaborating with sales team and customers. Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication abilities. Ability to engage in consultative and constructive dialogue with customers and internal teams. Knowledge of PLC systems and networks is highly advantageous.
