Inventory and Pricing Coordinator

Location: Mackay, QldEmployment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Operations Manager / General Manager About Us We are a dynamic, multi-division business supplying the building and construction industry, with operations spanning hardware retail, glass and window manufacturing, wall and truss production, roofing fabrication and industrial paint.Our success relies on accurate stock control, efficient pricing, and strong coordination between our retail and manufacturing teams. About the Role In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring up‑to‑date pricing across all products and materials, and supporting the smooth flow of information between purchasing, production, and sales. You will work closely with operations, retail, and finance teams to ensure that costs, margins, and stock data are always current and accurate. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock records across all business divisions. Update product pricing to reflect supplier cost changes and maintain target margins. Produce reports on stock levels, turnover, and pricing trends. Support production and retail teams by ensuring timely and accurate material availability. Monitor slow‑moving or obsolete stock and recommend actions. Key Selection Criteria Proven experience in inventory control and pricing administration, ideally in a manufacturing or retail environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management. Sound knowledge of purchasing and supplier coordination. Analytical and numerical ability to manage costs, margins, and stock performance. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments. Proficiency in inventory or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (or equivalent). Understanding of pricing, costing, and profitability principles. (Desirable) Industry experience in building, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
