Design & Build are partnered with a highly respected mechanical services contractor that delivers end-to-end HVAC and building services solutions across commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. Known for their design & construct capability and collaborative approach, they are continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work and are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team. What Your Day Looks Like Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects up to $20m. Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to scope project requirements. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Collaborate with the design and project delivery teams on D&C projects. Contribute to bid submissions, proposals, and handovers to project teams. About you Around 5 years’ estimating experience within the Australian HVAC/mechanical industry. Proven background working on design & construct (D&C) projects. Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and subcontractors. Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively. Strong technical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail. Strong skills with Excel, Bluebeam, and SIMPRO.
