The Medical Scientific Liaison will be a trusted advisor for scientific exchange to Key External Experts (KEEs) and stakeholders throughout the product life cycle. You will gather data from the field to generate medical insights, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and execute tactical field plans for engagement with the medical/scientific community for a product. Responsibilities Engage in scientific exchange in which knowledge about product(s), disease(s) and therapeutic areas is shared to ensure safe and effective use of Astellas products. Engage external stakeholders in one‑on‑one interactions and group settings, demonstrating an excellent scientific and clinical knowledge as well as an understanding of stakeholder needs. Maintain medical and scientific knowledge and stay current to enable peer‑to‑peer scientific exchange. Demonstrate high proficiency in interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Support Medical Education activities. Actively seek future stakeholders (KEEs, nurses, pharmacists, etc.) in alignment with the local health care system. Essential Knowledge & Experience Experience within a similar role in Medical Affairs. Fluent in English language. Preferred Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications Experience in prostate cancer or oncology highly preferred. MD, PhD or PharmD education qualification. Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in health‑related sciences or equivalent. Additional Information This is a permanent full‑time position. The position is based in Australia. This position is field based in Sydney and will travel to New South Wales and Queensland; 80% travel is expected. We Offer A challenging and diversified job in an international setting.
