We’re currently looking for Casual Cleaning Services Assistants to join our friendly team at Wattleglen Aged Care in Sale, Victoria. About the Role As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll help make sure our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You’ll be responsible for general cleaning tasks across the home, and may also help with laundry when needed. What You’ll Be Doing Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and more Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and carpet cleaning Managing waste and restocking supplies Using cleaning products safely and correctly Following infection control procedures Supporting a tidy and hazard‑free environment Assisting with laundry when required Working as part of a supportive team What We’re Looking For Some experience in cleaning (aged care experience is a bonus) Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) A good attitude and strong attention to detail Ability to follow routines and work independently Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements What We Offer A friendly, supportive team environment Meaningful work with purpose Competitive hourly rates Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits Opportunities to grow and develop Job security in a stable, growing organisation If you're someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help others feel comfortable and cared for, this could be the perfect fit.
