About the role We are seeking a reliable, autonomous, and self-driven hands-on Store Manager to lead our Geelong store. This is a diverse role which will suit someone who has the skills in customer service, sales growth and a passion for the products and services we offer particularly batteries for automotive, marine and general use. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will demonstrate your skills daily in this busy and rewarding environment. Responsibilities Manage incoming customer inquiries, in-store sales and services, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience; Optimise all sales opportunities of both Retail & Trade and drive growth through B2B selling and service; Provide products/services to customers, including testing and installs; Enforce and maintain quality and customer service standards; Manage site operations and dynamically drive continuous improvement & sound safety practices; Analyse and resolve customer concerns, identify local market trends and offer strategic solutions; Contribute to local area marketing concepts and business improvement strategies; Be responsible for inventory management, stock takes, daily reconciliation, banking and other administrative duties as required; Manage work scheduling of staff and priorities of customers in an efficient manner; Maintain a clean and safe operating area which includes shop, vehicles and workshop at all times; Ensure compliance of internal and external policies, procedures and laws at all times.
