Supervisor – Operations Centre Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia We’re looking for a Supervisor – Operations Centre to lead a team of plant controllers, mine controllers, and critical asset monitoring to support our bauxite mines in Weipa and Gove to safely achieve mining targets efficiently and effectively. About The Role Lead a team of plant and mine controllers and analysts to safely deliver the required tonnes and quality while adapting to changing priorities and conditions, mine haul lengths, and equipment availability. Coordinate short‑term interval control of the bauxite value chain from mine pit to port, working closely with operational and commercial peers to resolve bottlenecks, ensure plan conformance, and maximise value in real time. Exercise critical problem‑solving skills to focus on downstream impact, champion automation optimisation, and drive continuous improvement within the Operations Centre. Build processes and systems to run the bauxite mines as an integrated system, support future growth of the Brisbane Operations Centre, and oversee safe and effective operation of essential utilities. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a high‑performing operations centre control team. Motivate, inspire, and keep people safe and well. Co‑ordinate short‑term interval control from mine pit to port. Resolve process bottlenecks with operational and commercial peers. Ensure downstream impact focus and maximise customer sentiment. Oversee the safe operation of the beneficiary and crushing circuits. Remote‑monitor and control essential utilities and non‑process infrastructure. Champion optimisation of automated processes throughout the supply chain. Drive continuous improvement across all Operations Centre activities. Build processes and systems for integrated mine operations. Support the future growth of the Brisbane Operations Centre. Qualifications Previous leadership experience, ideally within an operations centre environment. High level of computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities calmly and professionally. Passion for continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.
