Senior Project Engineer

The role: Seeking a Senior Project Engineer to work closely with our project team to deliver engineering support, procurement and contract support and management. Based in our Perth office the role is offered on an initial 3-6 month's contract with the potential to extend. Key duties: * Working with others to coordinate engineering designs for the resources sector projects * Manage and support the procurement functions on allocated projects * Developing and implementing project plans including project execution plans, estimates, schedules and resource requirements to deliver project within time, cost, quality and safety criteria * Manage scope changes in terms of cost, schedule and quality * Execute project delivery within schedule, budget and quality criteria with a strong focus on safety * Support effective subcontractor management to deliver successful project outcomes * Pro‑actively work to identify risks, both technical and commercial, and taking appropriate action to ensure successful project outcomes * Perform a client-facing role, including client meetings, relationship management and contract management You will have: * Mechanical Engineering Degree * Mining industry experience across process plant and equipment * 7 to 12 years post‑graduate experience * Strong contract management and commercial skills * Analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects * Experience in owners project team highly regarded * Change and design management experience * Managing procurement and contract packages experience Here at DRA, we offer: * Competitive and above market salary packages * Regular market analysis to ensure staff retention * Flexible start and finish times * A collaborative and supportive team environment with all the tools to succeed We value diversity and the benefits it brings to achieving our objectives, enhancing our reputation, and attracting, engaging, and retaining talented people.
