will become your new home-away-from-home, located on the edge of one of Australia’s traditional beachside towns. Freedom Rainbow Beach Resort is located just 90 minutes North of Noosa and is the gateway to the infamous K’Gari (Fraser Island). Located in the small quaint beachside town of Rainbow Beach, you will have to walk a whole 5 minutes to enjoy kilometres of untouched beach. It is a little bit special.Our extensive Resort offers a large range of accommodation options, from villas, to hotel rooms and shared accomodation The property has two bars (one indoor and one outdoor), with two pool options for guest to relax in and soak up the rays.

What you will do:Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you will operate a profitable and sustainable business, maximising the bottom line by providing an excellence accommodation experience.You will consider yourself a confident and absolute ' all round ' resort leader, as this varied role will see you, build and maintain successful relationships and continue driving a positive culture amongst the team to enhance guests and key stakeholder relationships. You will provide a versatile approach in leadership and support and in all areas of park operations, from group bookings, to daily strategic and operational leadership.Oversee and take accountability for the smooth running of the Resorts day to day operationsEnsure an amazing, guest experience, immaculate product and continue to drive the customer journeyMaintain appropriate levels of employees in all areas of the Resorts operations and ensure the Resort is structured effectively in order to exceed guest serviceOversee asset management focusing on the protection and preventive maintenance of key assets and buildingsManage financial budgets in respect to incremental revenue targets and labour and operating costs and monthly re-forecastsEstablish, monitor and manage key business performance indicatorsMonitor and maintain a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employeesManage and develop employees of all levelsWhat you will bring:Previously managed or held an extensive senior role in an accommodation or similar tourism related roleProven experience in leading successful teams through building and maintaining a positive cultureYou will have experienced working in an environment where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essentialPrevious oversight in managing properties with food concepts, or events will be highly regardedYou will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational leadership team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest relationsYou will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have proven evidence of successful financial and strategic management and abilityYou walk the talk and can communicate to and manage teams at all levels.What’s in it for you?For the right person, we are willing to pay a salary that matches your experience and rewards your efforts.
