Kanda is seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Residential Care & Support programs in Cairns, QLD. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in overseeing service delivery, empowering your teams, and driving positive outcomes for the young people we support. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Service Delivery: Lead and manage regional operations, ensuring high-quality services, strong financial oversight and proactive workforce planning. Program Development & Improvement: Support the growth and improvement of existing programs and contribute to the development of new service initiatives. Team Management & Support: Recruit, train, mentor and supervise Case Managers and program staff, fostering a safe, collaborative and high-performing culture. Risk, Compliance & Reporting: Oversee risk management processes, ensure adherence to organisational and regulatory requirements, and provide consistent reporting to senior leaders. Stakeholder Engagement: Build meaningful and productive relationships with community partners, agencies and departmental stakeholders to strengthen service delivery outcomes. About You Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field Proven experience in youth services management and leading multidisciplinary teams Strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire, motivate and resolve conflicts sensitively and effectively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong stakeholder relationships Understanding of trauma-informed care and the challenges young people face within the sector Hold or willing to obtain: Working with children's check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
