The Share Shop Librarian The Share Shop is a 'library of things' that lets members borrow items instead of buying them. We are a community organisation that helps folks live more and own less. Our volunteer Librarian team is integral to what we do; they keep the shop tidy and help our members borrow things. Training will be provided and all we ask is 1 or 2 shifts per month In this role you will: Provide friendly customer service. Use computer software to help members borrow items (loans in & out). Maintain the shop and our things. Provide good and safe service in keeping with our Vollie Code of Conduct & workplace health & safety guidelines. Welcome people of all cultures, ages, and backgrounds in a non-judgemental & open way. The Librarian role is perfect for people: With 3-5 hours to give per month (Saturdays & Thursdays in Hamo). Who value diverse communities. With an interest in economic & environmental sustainability. Who enjoy learning new things The shop is open year-round on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm. We are also open on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6pm from October to March.
