Mobile App Developer – Contract – Sydney/Melbourne Urgent requirement. Requirements Must design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive interfaces. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Integrate APIs and third‑party services into mobile applications. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across devices. Ensure application security and compliance with platform guidelines. Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews. Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends and technologies. Proven experience in mobile development for Android (Java/Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective‑C). Familiarity with cross‑platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native) is a plus. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles. Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling. Knowledge of version control systems (Git). Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills. Good to Have Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Understanding of mobile security best practices. Responsibilities Maintaining the applications. Support offshore team to produce reliable and stable solutions in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Interact with customer tech leads and business users and drive assigned work. Responsible for managing the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure the SLAs are met. Liaise with clients and users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter. Ensure project quality of work meets defined governance, process standards and best practices. Ability to see the bigger picture, make and advise on strategic decisions.
