Join our dynamic kitchen team as an Apprentice Chef In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, gaining hands‑on experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. No two days are the same in this dynamic team where you could be preparing dishes for a silver service event, or functions with a thousand people or creating food for our Foodspace customers. If you have a keen eye for detail, a love for creativity, and a desire to grow in the culinary field, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The successful applicant must be available to work an Any 5 out of 7 roster. Timeframe and Qualification This is a 3-year apprenticeship. On completion you will obtain a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. This is an apprenticeship and is ideal for school leavers, those new to the industry or seeking a career change. Eligibility criteria apply if you hold existing qualifications in this area. Why Choose Us? What you will need to succeed A passion for cooking and food and a desire to grow your skills and knowledge. Good verbal and written communication skills. You're a team player, with the ability to learn from, and grow positive relationships with others. Successful completion of Year 10 is desirable but not required. Food safety Certificate is desirable but not essential. Get paid while studying for your trade. Choice of 4‑ or 5‑week's annual leave.
