About the role The DevSecOps Platform Engineer (D365) is responsible for the secure, consistent, and efficient management of Housing Australia's Dynamics 365 environments across their full lifecycle. This role ensures that D365 applications and supporting Azure services operate as resilient, high‑performing foundations for the organisation's digital ecosystem. By embedding security by design, automating deployments, and applying proactive monitoring, the position minimises operational risk, protects sensitive information, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organisational obligations. Beyond operational assurance, the role actively drives optimisation, governance, and cost efficiency, enabling Housing Australia to deliver trusted, scalable, and sustainable technology services. Key responsibilities Environment Management: Administer and govern Dynamics 365 environments (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance & Operations) across development, testing, and production, ensuring stability and controlled change management. Configuration & Optimisation: Configure and optimise D365 applications to align with business processes and evolving requirements. Integration Maintenance: Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable integrations across D365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and supporting Azure services. Azure Governance: Oversee configuration of Azure services (Data Factory, API Management, Synapse) to ensure compliant and trusted data flows for reporting and analytics. Automation & CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring consistent, secure, and reliable deployments. Technical Escalation: Provide advanced technical support and act as a point of escalation for complex platform and environment issues. DevSecOps Practices: Embed security controls across environments, including identity management, encryption, and vulnerability management. Monitoring & Observability: Proactively monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability; implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for real‑time visibility. Skills and experience Hands‑on experience managing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments across multiple stages (dev, test, prod). Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines and ALM practices in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security frameworks (e.g., Essential Eight, ISO 27001). Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, API Management, Synapse) and integration patterns. Familiarity with observability, logging, monitoring, and cost optimisation in Azure‑hosted platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical and operational issues. Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
