Factory Hand / All Rounder - Sander - Polyurethane Under Coater–Kitchens&Joinery Planit Kitchens is currently seeking an experienced and versatile Sander & Polyurethane Under Coater to join our growing team in Tuggerah. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities: Sand and prepare joinery components between coats to achieve a smooth, consistent finish. Apply polyurethane undercoat using spray equipment to MDF and timber surfaces. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the spray booth and sanding area. Inspect surfaces for imperfections, fill and repair minor defects as needed. Work closely with spray painters and assemblers to maintain workflow and meet production deadlines. Adhere to all WHS procedures and safe handling of chemicals, tools and equipment. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standards. Skills & Experience: Experience with polyurethane coating and sanding in a joinery or cabinetry environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safe chemical handling and spray booth procedures. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn and grow within the role. About You: Highly self-motivated and dependable. Strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
