We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team, bringing a goal‑oriented mindset to ensure minimal disruption to the organisation’s assets and projects. This role aims to achieve planned time, cost, and quality metrics for projects, aligning with NEPEAN Conveyor’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities Strategise, schedule, coordinate and monitor maintenance of all plant equipment, infrastructure and machinery to minimise downtime, reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules and work orders to ensure timely and cost‑efficient maintenance of the organisation’s activities and goals. Work closely with maintenance personnel, engineering teams and operations to schedule preventive maintenance, handle emergencies and conduct inspections, ensuring minimal disruption to production or services. Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs. Plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. Track the inventory of spare parts and ensure their availability for routine and emergency maintenance. Identify and address potential issues before they become costly problems, and adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work. Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities and their effectiveness. Qualifications A degree or certificate in engineering, industrial maintenance or facilities management. Prior experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance or a similar field. Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, best practices and equipment. Excellent organisational and planning skills to manage schedules and coordinate maintenance activities. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with maintenance personnel and engineering teams. Ability to identify and address potential issues proactively. Familiarity with maintenance management software and other relevant tools. Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols to ensure compliance during maintenance activities. Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
