This role is a Full-Time position, as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer or Graduate Geological Engineer, based in our Brisbane Office.As part of our Geotechnics and Mine Waste Engineering Team, you will get to work amongst leaders in their field. We are looking to connect with graduates with the ability to learn and benefit from a wide variety of project work and develop to become a Project Consultant.**Job Tasks and Responsibilities*** Assisting in the preparation of tenders and proposals* Providing advice to clients and colleagues and working in a combination of office based and fieldwork activities* You will be supported by senior consultants to develop detailed knowledge and understanding of mine waste engineering and geotechnical methods and techniques to solve complex problems* You will connect with other graduates around Australia in various sectors in a collaborative approach and will enjoy working with others in the business and sharing success.**Skills and Experience*** Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or related fields* Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal* Demonstrated initiative and capability to work independently as well as working well within a team environment**Desirable or Advantageous*** Ability to analyse and interpret situations and problems, and develop appropriate solutions* Geotechnical assessments, field studies and soil sampling* Exposure to/ understanding of the consulting industry**Our Benefits** We are proud of our unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
