Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as a **Network Engineer** reporting to the Network Manager NMC Core and Enterprise.**A bit about your role**The Network Management Centre (NMC) within C&NS ensures the availability of the nbn network to deliver exceptional customer experience and meet uptime targets. The **Network Engineer** role provides technical expertise and assurance for Enterprise Ethernet—nbn’s high-speed fibre product offering up to 10Gbps and 99.95% availability—supporting business and government customers with 24x7 service.Responsibilities include managing outages, coordinating with external customers (e.g., enterprises and RSPs) and internal teams to meet strict restoration SLAs, while working an 8-hour daytime shift within a 12-hour window, Monday to Friday.**A bit about you**You have strong telecommunications network experience including nbn Aggregation, FTTn, FTTp, and HFC technologies. The ideal candidate has practical experience in Tier 2 level technical support or above, including incident management in a 24x7 NOC.Key skills include high attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and excellent communication. Proficiency in MS Office, network incident management tools (Remedy, Netcool), and adherence to safety and compliance standards is essential.
