Based in our CBD Project Office, the Procurement Officer will be focused solely on Primero’s $1Billion Construction Project, a Greenfields Upgrade of a Gold Processing Plant in Kalgoorlie. Responsible for the administration functions surrounding purchasing and expedient provision of all required goods and services in accordance with the Primero policies, procedures and guidelines. Your Key Responsibilities Execute transactional purchasing activities as per company policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions. Create and manage Purchase Requisitions and Purchase orders based on the requirements of various departments, ensuring timely approvals and processing. Liaise with suppliers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries and corrective actions around delivery issues and invoice discrepancies. Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information. Contribute to the improvement of purchasing processes. What You ‘Can Do’ 2+ years’ experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar administrative position. Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures. Knowledge of computer applications - Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in data entry and management. Excellence in customer service with internal and external stakeholders. Formal Qualification in Business and Administration will be highly regarded.
