Casual OSHC Holiday Educator – Banksia Beach State School Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Our Outside School Hours Care service, Banksia Beach State School Helping Hands , is looking for a passionate Casual Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programmes for our primary‑age children. This is a casual opportunity to support throughout the school holidays. You will work various shifts to support the service’s Holiday Program hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. About the role Working in a team of educators, you will have support of a coordinator to seamlessly run our vacation care for children aged 5‑12 years: Facilitate an engaging child‑centred program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft – whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Work with a team of skilled educators onsite Have the opportunity to take children on exciting day trips and excursions Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (we’ll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights What's in it for you?
