Certificate III in Engineering – Fitting and Machining About Forge Engineering We are a privately owned engineering company based in Mackay, QLD and we exist because "we make what’s needed" to keep various industries moving. We achieve this by utilising advanced manufacturing technologies and production systems to rapidly solve problems for our customers. We manufacture and reclaim a range of components associated with fixed and mobile mining equipment, ports, rail, agriculture, construction and various other engineering service providers. Our range of service offerings includes CNC machining, Component manufacturing, Robotic welding, Fabrication and Component reclamation. About the role Due to our continued growth and positive outlook for manufacturing in our region, we are looking for someone who wants to learn and master the skills of being a Fitter Machinist and develop a meaningful and financially rewarding career. Your time will be spent in a "hands on" role, learning all the key elements of precision machining and how to operate computer-controlled equipment and other machinery. Your priority will be to learn new skills and master the required trade competencies and then apply them in a safe and efficient manner.
