Description MSL Manager/MSLDue to internal movement, an opportunity for a full time, permanent medical science Liaison role has become available within the medical affairs team. This role will report directly to the Head of Medical. Your role will be to lead the MSL team. You will have 4 direct reports across eastern Australia and will be covering the specialties of Oncology and women’s health. The key component of this role is that this is a hybrid role of a MSL covering Sydney territory and leadership. This role will be based in Sydney, New south Wales and will require you to be able to travel to this location. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of 4 MSLs. Act as an MSL in your own right and liaise with KOLs. Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange, staying current with evolving trends. Execute field plans aligned with the company medical plan. Attract, hire, and retain high-performing MSLs, providing coaching, feedback, and creating a collaborative team environment while ensuring team objectives are met. Essential Knowledge & Experience Extensive experience working in the Pharma Industry. Experienced medical affairs professional, preferably as an MSL. Strong people management and demonstrated coaching skills. Education Doctoral degree (MD, PhD in health-related science or PharmD). Additional Information Full time, permanent position. Based in Sydney, Australia. Hybrid working model: blend of home and minimum 2 days per week in our Sydney office, plus infield. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
