As we continue to expand, we are seeking motivated and experienced Storeperson/Hose Maker to join our Laverton team. Your Role The role requires a combination of hose assembly and warehousing skills, with hands‑on experience assembling industrial and hydraulic hoses and components for our key customers. Your primary responsibilities will include carrying out assembly tasks based on customer‑specific requirements, including selecting and preparing hoses and fittings and using equipment such as crimpers, pressure testers, and general warehouse tools. You will also support warehousing operations, including unpacking, packing, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as contributing to general warehouse duties as required. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing hydraulic hoses to customer specifications, following standards and guidelines. Selecting appropriate hydraulic hoses and fittings, and interpreting product specs and hydraulic schematics. Using measuring devices and crimping machines accurately; testing hose assemblies as needed. Coordinating goods for distribution to customers, including picking and checking orders prior to dispatch. Packaging goods to ensure safe delivery and completing receive/despatch documentation. Processing receipt and delivery of inventory and assisting with inventory counts and stock replenishments as required. Organising warehouse records and operations and monitoring storage facilities. Receiving and storing goods and maintaining general housekeeping of the warehouse facility. What We Are Looking For Ability to operate various types of assembly equipment and use measuring devices. Hands‑on experience assembling industrial and hydraulic hoses and components is desirable. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Strong problem‑solving ability. Team player with a strong work ethic. Willingness to develop and learn.
