Read on and apply today Your new role As the Head of Market Access you will play a crucial role in shaping market strategies and driving the success of products. Your key responsibilities include: Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies for products and portfolio throughout their lifecycle. Lead pricing strategy development aligned with market conditions and company objectives while securing reimbursement approvals. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align market access strategies with overall business goals and ensure compliance with regulations. Conduct market research and analysis to inform decision‑making and guide product development and commercialization efforts. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, represent the company in negotiations and mentor a team of market access professionals. Your new department This role reports to the Senior Director of Market Access Public Affairs and Sustainability (MAPAS). The MAPAS team is dedicated to ensuring Novo Nordisks therapies are accessible to patients while maintaining a sustainable healthcare system. Based in Australia you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where innovation and strategic thinking are highly valued. The team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and driving Novo Nordisks mission forward. Your skills & qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Health Economics, Business, Life Sciences) is required with a preferred postgraduate qualification in areas such as health economics, medical science or an MBA. Minimum of 10 years of experience in market access pricing and reimbursement in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors. Strong understanding of the Australia / New Zealand regulatory environments and healthcare systems. Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills along with authentic leadership and team management abilities. Ability to think purposefully and execute effectively with proficiency in data analysis and market research tools.
