The role As the Team Leader - Inspector of Mines, you will form part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering WA’s mines safety reforms, supporting operational planning, and engaging with industry to drive best-practice safety standards. Drawing on your experience in work health and safety in the mining sector, you will play a vital role in shaping safety culture, supporting statewide reform, and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Your strong leadership skills and experience in safety management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory practice will be key to your success in this role. You will bring to the team your expertise in implementing WHS frameworks, leading operational initiatives, guiding cultural change, and your ability to collaborate effectively with technical specialists, inspectors, executives and external stakeholders.
