Summary Take on a senior leadership position as Residential Aged Care Manager with a respected aged care organisation, overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs. In this role, you will drive a culture of high-quality, resident-focused care, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, support and develop your team, and enhance the wellbeing of every resident. Key Responsibilities Maintain adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous quality assurance. Oversee day-to-day management, strategic planning, and financial oversight to ensure effective, sustainable, and high-quality service delivery. Mentor and guide a multidisciplinary team, encouraging professional development, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in care. Develop strong connections with residents, families, and the broader community, encouraging open communication and a supportive, inclusive environment. Spearhead the delivery of high standards of resident-focused care, ensuring dignity, compassion, and personalised support are at the centre of all services. Implement initiatives that strengthen service quality and best practice, ensuring ongoing progress and positive outcomes for residents. What We’re Looking For Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Strong operational leadership experience in residential aged care as either a Facility Manager or an experienced Clinical Manager, looking to take a step up. Additional tertiary qualifications in management or a related field are highly regarded. Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team, with a focus on service quality, compliance, and resident wellbeing. Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding frameworks such as AN‑ACC. Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight to ensure sustainable operations. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
