As a Hydraulic & Fire Services Engineer, you will use your digital skills to deliver critical social infrastructure projects from life‑saving hospitals to high‑tech Data Centres. Opportunity You will undertake detailed design work across a broad range of projects within hydraulic/fire services engineering and related areas. You will provide design calculations, drawings and specifications. Where required you will liaise with other groups in the region, providing expertise on hydraulic/fire services engineering. You will represent your team or area at internal meetings and may be responsible for organising events, activities or small internal business projects. You will assist others with their work and ensure that deadlines are met. Is this role right for you? Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar area. Relevant industry experience in building services hydraulic and fire services engineering within a consulting business environment. Experience in the operation of software design tools including Revit. Membership of relevant professional institutions or significant credit towards eligibility for membership. Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S.
