The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Environmental Approvals Specialist to lead and coordinate the approvals process for a new gold mining project in Queensland. This role will work closely with the Project Manager and a team of environmental and engineering consultants to deliver all required state approvals. Key Responsibilities Lead the coordination and delivery of all environmental approvals for a new gold mine in QLD. Prepare, review and manage approval documentation and submissions. Work collaboratively with environmental, technical and engineering specialists. Engage directly with regulatory authorities to negotiate practical and reasonable outcomes. Provide ongoing approvals advice to support project planning and development. About You Demonstrated experience managing environmental approvals for major mining or resource projects. Strong understanding of Queensland regulatory frameworks and approval pathways. Proven ability to negotiate with government regulators and achieve balanced, workable outcomes. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills.
