About the Role – 6-month Fixed Term Based in either Melbourne or Perth, with a hybrid working arrangement, this newly created role is a great opportunity for an HR professional to build hands‑on experience across all areas of HR. Working in a small team within a technical business, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of HR activities while supporting a workforce of skilled specialists. As the HR Officer/Assistant, you will assist with day‑to‑day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, maintain accurate employee records, support recruitment processes, and help deliver a positive employee experience. This role is well suited to someone who is organised, people‑focused, and eager to learn in a supportive and dynamic environment. Main responsibilities: Provide support on general HR enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses Support recruitment, onboarding, and off‑boarding activities Assist with data review, ensuring accuracy and managing associated administrative tasks Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience Support general administrative tasks including preparing documents, filing, and logistical arrangements for new employees Assist with internal events and staff‑gathering activities, contributing to a positive workplace culture Requirements: Certificate IV or Diploma in HR, Business, or a related field 1–2 years’ experience in HR or payroll administration Highly organised with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn Values‑driven and committed to confidentiality and integrity Why Join ARI?
