Country Manager This is a contract-based, part-time role with the possibility of expansion as Lumo scales in Australia. Lumo Host helps international students find safe, verified, and culturally aligned housing in Australia — beginning with key cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. As we expand, we’re seeking a high-caliber Country Manager to lead our Australian growth. Ideal Candidate Strong connections with international student admission agencies (especially Bangladesh-based) Deep understanding of South Asian student migration pathways An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently Role Responsibilities Build partnerships with property owners, landlords, student accommodations, and real estate networks Develop and manage relationships with international student recruitment/admission agencies (Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Southeast Asia) Oversee housing acquisition and maintain a verified property inventory Lead and support Housing Coordinators across major Australian cities Ensure smooth student placements and ongoing support Track KPIs and report directly to the global leadership team Ensure compliance with Australian rental norms, tenancy laws, and local regulations Who this role is ideal for Real estate professionals with experience in the Australian rental market Individuals with strong ties to international student recruitment agencies People who understand the challenges international students face when relocating to Australia Ambitious, self-driven leaders who want to grow with a global startup How to Apply If you believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.
