Sales Representative – Fair Dinkum Builds Melbourne Garages

We’re a small, family-owned business that’s been helping the Mornington Peninsula and Surrounding area build their dream garages, sheds, and outdoor spaces for more than 15 years. At Fair Dinkum Builds Melbourne Garages, we’re proud of our friendly, down-to-earth team, the quality service we deliver to every customer, and our track record of success — including multiple national and state sales awards. We love what we do — helping people bring their ideas to life with practical, well-built solutions — and we’re now looking for a new Sales Representative to join our growing team. About the Role This is mainly an office-based role based in Hastings, where you’ll help keep things running smoothly from the first enquiry through to job completion. You’ll chat with customers, prepare quotes, and make sure each project moves through the process efficiently and accurately. You’ll work closely with a supportive, experienced team — but we’ll also trust you to take ownership of your work and manage your own day once you’re up to speed. What You’ll Be Doing: Designing and preparing accurate and timely quotes for customers using our Fair Dinkum builds Design software Following up leads and supporting customers through the sales process Keeping jobs moving through each stage smoothly and on schedule Working closely with our team to make sure everyone’s in the loop Communicating with external / internal shareholders accurately and in a timely manner Reporting sales figures and conversion rates to the Director Jumping in to help with general admin or phone enquiries when needed About You: You’re organised, reliable, and enjoy working with people. You take pride in doing a good job and are happy to pitch in wherever needed. Ideally, you’ll bring: Some experience in sales (especially in building or construction – bonus points) A good understanding of Victorian building and planning codes (or willingness to learn) Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner Proficient computer skills and a sharp eye for detail and numbers Passionate about collaborating with clients face-to-face to design and deliver creative solutions tailored to their needs A current driver’s licence (forklift licence would be a plus) Why You’ll Love Working With Us We’re a close-knit, supportive team that values trust, flexibility, and balance .
