About the role As a result of our success and growth we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Flashbutt Welder Operators to join our long-term rail maintenance projects based out of Port Hedland, WA. This role is a full time position where you will be working on a 2 : 1 (14 days on / 7 days off) FIFO Roster. These roles are well-suited to those with a high regard for safety and quality, and the demonstrated ability to operate and maintain machinery. Key Responsibilities Working in rail environment safely Ability to work alongside team members with various skills Maintenance on plant machinery Good oral and written communication with knowledge of day to day works under the guidance of the Supervisor Follow safety procedures and direction as required Maintain a clean and safe working environment Perform general track maintenance as required About You 2 years Flashbutt Welding experience Nationally accredited FBW certification Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure Experience working within the Rail industry A proactive and well-informed approach to working safely Drivers Licence HR Licence White Card Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Why work for DT Infrastructure Various allowances for working away from home National business with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and opportunities Ability to up-skill with training provided Diverse, energetic and supportive workplace culture, where you are treated as a highly valued team member Networking and exposure - This position will give exposure to diverse range of rail infrastructure projects.
